Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

MIX:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 #s ground beef
  • sprinkle each of granulated garlic and granulated onion
  • OPTIONAL ~ add some grated Parmesian cheese or cheddar cheese if you have it!

Shape into 1-inch balls, place on baking sheet and bake in a 400* oven for 12-15 minutes

In the meantime …

SAUTE’ :

  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons butter

ADD:

  • 1.5 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup honey (I have substituted 1/2 cup brown sugar before)
  • 6 TB soy sauce

Bring glaze to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 5-8 minutes.  Add meatballs to sauce, carefully stir to coat.

Serve with egg noddles, rice, or as appetizers. 🙂
