Lasagna

Valentine’s Dinner for tonight is Lasagna … made (of course) with our own all-natural meats 🙂

BROWN in a pan:

1/2 pound ground beef

1/2 pound ground sausage

1 clove garlic, minced

1 medium onion, chopped fine

ADD:

1 TB oregano

1/2 tsp. salt

1 boulion cube dissolved in 1/2 cup water

1 quart pasta sauce

COMBINE & mix well (in a bowl):

15-16 oz ricotta cheese

1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)

2 eggs (farm fresh of course!)

2 TB parsley

1/4 tsp pepper

On Bottom of a 9×13 pan LAYER:

3/4 cup meat sauce

one layer lasagna noodles (my favorite are Barilla, no-pre-boil kind)

half of the ricotta cheese mixture

half of remaining meat sauce

2 cups mozarella cheese, shredded

one layer lasagna noodles

remaining ricotta cheese mix

remaining meat sauce

2 cups mozarella cheese

** Bake uncovered @ 350 for 30-35 minutes or till bubbly.
