I grew up making yogurt from the milk from our goats, Swanli & Heidi. In the past 10 years I have learned how to make cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, “farmer’s cheese” … and more!
When I first looked into making cheese I was rather overwhelmed by the lists of things you “need” to make cheese. Not wanting to invest too much into something I wasn’t sure I could do … I began to look up what others had made work … and “made do” with what was in MY kitchen … and still had successful batches of cheese! Hopefully my experiences can inspire some first time cheese makers as well! 🙂
