Making Homemade Sour Cream

After one of our cheese classes I was asked if I had ever made my own sour cream … and the answer is “YES”! 🙂  Very easy, very delicious .. and very unlike store bought! 🙂

SOUR CREAM

Mix:

2 cups heavy cream

2 TB cultured buttermilk (like we had in our class)

Cover & let set at room temperature for about 24 hours.  It should be thick like sour cream when ready. 🙂
